Loaded Helping Businesses Navigate the Cloud with Amazon Web Services

The first Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Tour event here in Australia was a huge success. The Cloud Tour roadshow gathered people from around Australia who wanted to gain a deeper understanding of the key benefits to running in the cloud and how they can leverage the AWS cloud platform to drive higher efficiency and business growth.

The event was exciting for our team as it kicks off the beginning of our cooperation with Amazon Web Services as a solution provider in Australia. IT manager, Jean Gabriel Laine spoke with people from different backgrounds and industries, observing that the “cloud” can satisfy companies of all sizes and requirements, from the simple HTML page hosting to the large and complex infrastructure migrations. “This is an incredible opportunity for Loaded Technologies to demonstrate its knowledge and experience in the cloud hosting area, and leverage the AWS cloud to drive higher efficiency and cut costs for our clients”.

The Amazon event, hosted by Dr Werner Vogels, Amazon’s Chief Technology Officer, covered the Amazon infrastructure from its beginning, security, architecture, privacy and economics and outlined some interesting facts. For example, did you know that Amazon adds each day into their cloud processing power equivalent to what was required to run their website amazon.com back in the days it was a 2.76 billion annual revenue enterprise?
