"SugarCRM integration with Joomla and Moodle has transformed the way and speed with which we process scholarship applications. As a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation, ASF faces operating costs pressures and funding constraints, while constantly increasing the scholarship offering.
In order to overcome these challenges and support ASF’s outstanding growth, we have implemented SugarCRM as our central database, integrated with our Joomla website and Moodle to manage and assess scholarship applications.
The integrated solution has resulted in a dramatic increase in operational efficiency. The new online applications system allowed us to process nearly 1,000 applications for our latest round of scholarships - 325 scholarships in one go. The most applications we have had in the past was about 100. So, the new system has enabled us to increase by a factor of 10. We simply would not be able to deliver these results with cost effectively without the automated solution we have now in place.
